Connecting Basic Stamp with Picaxe

Hi... I am connecting and Basic Stamp with a Picaxe... I have my Picaxe dsn module working fine... I was just starting to create one for the Basic Stamp but I am having problems... First I can't find a socket for it.. Secondly, I don't see all of the pins for a BS2 - primarily VSS and VIN. Do you have an example I could learn from?

Connection via SERIN/SEROUT should be a breeze for both. Suggest you further outline your needs- why are you even using BS (which are far more costly than equiv. PICAXEs!) ?

 

[Technical]

You cannot use a Stamp model in PICAXE VSM. If you purchase the Professional version from Labcenter with the Stamp module you could do this, but you would then have all the stamp models already.

Vss and Vdd on most ISIS integrated circuit models are 'hidden'.

Ok... Thanks for the input... By the way I agree, the Basic Stamp is way too expensive...
