DSP Innovations has recently launched a FREE data sheet search site. The site, www.datasheetpro.com , enables component and design engineers to easily find electronic and semiconductor datasheets necessary for their projects. Please try
out the service and provide your feedback to support -at- datasheetpro [dot] com.
Additionally, the site will allow manufacturers to upload their newest datasheets
and cross references for search. Please see www.datasheetpro.com/services.php for
details.

Thanks. Nice plug. Do you work for them? Or own the website? If so, remember you're not allowed to advertise here. I emphasize the 'if so'.

It's a nice idea and I'll bookmark it, but my first attempt to search for TCS230 was unsuccesful. I will keep an eye on it, but for now I'll stick to Farnell and RS.

I guess it's 'watch this space' as it will improve I'm sure. Good luck to you.

In the interest of fairness, there are other sources. I use datasheetarchive.com when I need an obscure datasheet. I don't think any one site has all datasheets but it rarely lets me down.

Google gentlemen.

search for the part number and add the word "filetype: pdf" to your search.

It is more complete than many archives.

>>EDIT I had to add a space between the : and the pdf because it comes up as a smiley in this forum. When searching, don't add the space.
