Boat project 4 - Battery load tester

This is a development of the current consumption meter. It can apply a substantial load to a lead-acid battery, monitoring the battery voltage and current taken for a significant time, then calculating the batery's capacity (Amp.hours) from the measurements. It retains the consumption meter functionality too.

Interesting circuit. I like the current sensing device to sense DC amps. I didn’t know they existed! Not your typical low ohmic value, high power, 50mV meter shunt setup!
