Bluetooth

Hi,
I want to set up a bluetooth connection between a sensor and Picaxe chip, and after checking the
net and the forum I would expect hc-05 in connection with the chip and hc-06 in connection with the
sensor. Is that OK?
best regards

Technically it shouldn't matter in a one-to-one connection where there will be a PICAXE connected at both ends.

The HC-06 can be a slave only, waits for a connection to it, while the HC-05 can make a connection or wait for one to come in, so it would be logical to put the HC-06 on the sensor side so you can connect to it from your phone or laptop to test it.

You could just use HC-05 on both sides.

Hi hippy,
Thank you. I will do it. I may come back with problems later.

a simple schematic of your project and maybe some code ...cause someday I would like to try bluetoothing
but i understand if your always pushed for time
