is there any possibility to produce custom characters and display them on the axe134Y modules,

According to the Winstar WS0010 Data Sheet, you can program up to 8 custom characters in the AXE134Y.

Thanks Pete , I'll have to look at the winstar data sheet to get some idea' howto' ,not had a great result so far , anyway.........,
As an aside I was christened in Inglewood (a long time ago) where my great grandmother( bless her) and her family resided !
