Anyone used the TMP102 I2C temperature sensor?

Not used it but it should be easy enough.

It's swings and roundabouts with temperature sensors, each having their own advantages and disadvantages.

Perhaps the big advantages of DS18B20 are its transistor size packaging and ability to be parasitically powered so a probe sensor can be achieved with just two-core cable. Its disadvantage, 750ms conversion time, can be overcome using OWIN/OWOUT commands, firing the sensor and coming back to read it some time later. Those can also be used to have any number ( I don't know what the actual limit is ) of DS18B20 on the same, single, I/O pin.

The advantage of TMP102 does seem to be lower power and faster conversion time. Its disadvantages needing I2C and being a 3V6 max device and requiring breakout board. It does seem to have more capability and a 13-bit resolution mode though no extra accuracy.
