hi,

just thought i'd say how cool PICAXE is, we are doing a small project at school where we make a product that play sa christmas tune, i decided to go out of my way and get an 08M instead of the 08's our school are using, now i have three songs in a stuffed toy!

my acutal post is about the IDE, i like it alot, however, i wanted to make an app that changed the music on the toy but opening its zip and instering the cable into its download port. instead of a user having to open the editor and try to firgure out what to change, i would like to make a program that allows you to pick what songs you would like on instead. is there a way i can make my program write all the source to a .bas file and maybe execute picaxe from the commandline to download the code?

Technical : There is a command line interface available for downloading BASIC files directly to PICAXE, but we will only supply the files and protocols to third party software we have prior approved.
