Handy project for background lighting, fire effect of just plain rgb mood lighting.
Code could be tidied but its fuctional and works for me and should give a newcomer a place to start and a project that will keep the wife happy !

The Pirahna Led's came from China and 10 for less than £3 is pretty good as the cheapest i could find in the UK was 85p each from Rapid.

The Pot i used has nice click positions, like some hifi amps have for volume controls. This enabled me to use the clicks as form of mode selection.
The code is well commented and if anyone fancy's making one i have also drawn up a schematic. PM me and ill mail it back asap.

Enjoy
Regards
Neil

Do you have a link to the Pirahna LED datasheet? I am sure that others may have also wondered what exactly they are.:D

I've used Piranhna red, green and blue LEDs separately - they have a very wide light angle (110 degrees for my LEDs). This means that they are not amazingly bright to look at, but they do a great job of floodlighting.

Here's my attempt at a RGB floodlamp using Piranha LEDs.
