Anyone tested the 18X picaxe at this speed, after a doubling of clock that is!
PS
What is the 18X a 16F627?

Yes, I've used an 18X at 9600 in both directions connected to a PC with no problems. Because of the wider manufacturing tolerance of the 18X internal clock there's a slightly increased chance of comms problems between two 18X's, but that's applicable to any 18X baud rate, not just the higher ones.

The 18X is a 16F88.

Hi,
Thkanks for the information link, it appears that we have run on parallel paths with your compiler and mine, although mine was a simple replication of the Stamp2 variant, which I wrote in TurboPascal, it's all I had at the time (4-years ago), but now I have moved on to Crownhill PicBasicPro to be honest I can't be bother anymore, the mountain has been climbed so to speak.

Yes, my BS1 compiler and idea of a 'super BS1' slowly grounded itself after I discovered the PICAXE.
