14M2 ADC on B ports failing

Hi All

I've attached a very basic VSM file and program file in which all I want to do is read the ADC from an LDR then display it on the built-in virtual terminal.

On the C ports ADC pins it works fine but not the B ports. Is this intentional or did I miss something?

This also happens on the 20M2 when I tried on there.

I doubt ADC not working on the B pins is intentional and we will investigate.

Thanks Hippy, I didn't mean intentional as in malice, simply that maybe the VSM spice part was not able to cope with ADC being on both ports B and C together.

Look forward to getting the solution/verdict.

This is indeed a bug, however we need to look into it further as we can't see anything wrong in the source at present!

Sorry for the delay, we have been working with Labcenter to work out how to fix existing designs (new designs will be ok once the 4.04 patch is installed).
It turns out to be an obscure model cacheing setting we were not previously aware of.

1) First install the 4.04 patch from www.picaxe.com/vsm
2) For existing designs ensure in your existing design that you uncheck the following menu item (which is checked by default)
Design>Edit Design Properties>Cache Model Files
3) Save the file. Once saved you can turn the cache back on if you want to.
