I've recently become interested in the retro walking robots and have 3d printed and am assembling both of these projects from the user robothut. And I thought you had a big robot collection.
The drones from Silent Running are some of my favorite robots. These don't have any intelligence yet but I'll probably add a Picaxe for remote motor on/off and led control. If I ever get them done, I'll try to post something. I'm trying to learn about these walking mechanism. It looks like your trashcan uses the same mechanism as your walking breadboard that I built. Is this something you came up with? Just curious.
