Could someone tell me the max speed a RFID tag can go by a reader and still be read? Right now I am working on an application where an object is passing over a RFID tag at about 15 km/h Once read, the picaxe will react depending on which tag is read.

I am working with stepper motors at the moment and just wanted to know whether it was normal for them to get hot? (i assume so, but would like verification). And yes it is running quite well, speeds up and slows down and all that.

OK so ,with the PLC's I am used to working with, the processor will read inputs, process code, lastly sets outputs. ( not including the immediate statements). Is this the same for the pics??????
