I heard that you can under clock the picaxe to run at lower voltage. Does under clocking give it a stable voltage? The picaxe 08m uses its source power as a reference when doing readadc. Will it give the same value if I use a voltage between 2.8v-5v?
For example i want to read the voltage of a...
Hey I cant seem to find any CMOS 4006 at electronics stores. Some guy said that they dont make them anymore. Is there like a equivalent to them or a newer version.
I need them for a nintendo 64 controller to computer adaptor.
I hace some SMD LEDs except it doesn't say the current so I dont know what resistor to use.
2.2V
5mcd
120°
Amber colour
They had some mix up with the colours so it might be yellow which means that it has
2.1V
6mcd
Just want to know around how much the forward current is? or a reccomended resistor.
Is there something that I can use thats about the same size as a servo wire. There's lots of computer stores around but not many hobby stores that sell servo wire. Is there like an equivalent to it but for computers. I found one in my computer that has 4 pins.
Just 2 quick questions.
How do I have an input give power instead of being ground like normal? For example. I have pin--------switch--------ground. How do I make it so that when the switch is pressed the pin detects it.
How do I have no connection to something? Like its not giving a Low signal...
When I use a readadc reading to get the values from the xbox 360 controller trigger pots the reading changes depending on how charged the batteries are. Is there any way to keep them constant, maybe by using the enhanced download circuit?
Hi I'm trying to use setint but its not working.
rapidon2:
setint %00001000,%00001000
Low 1
Pause 60000
High 1
interrupt:
If pin3 = 1 then pause3
setint %00001000,%00001000
goto rapidon2
pause3:
pause 10000
The interupt only seems to work once.
I've been trying for a few days but I cant seem to program my picaxe.
I always get the error hardware not found on com 1. First I thought that maybe the port on the computer doesn't actually connect to anything so I changed to a laptop. neither of them worked. Then I though I had bad wires so I...
I having trouble soldering wires to pin legs cause I cant get the wire to stay there or close enough to the leg when I'm soldering it. HAs anyone got any tips?
Sorry I don't know any other electronics forums. I was trying to solder some stuff onto a 8 pin socket when I realised that the tip was black. I couldn't seem to tin it and it took ages to heat up.
I figured that a new tip would cost as much as a tip cleaner or whatever that stuff that renews...
I got a Dick Smith electronics 40w soldering iron on the Christmas holidays. Its better than the one I had before but when I try to desolder some stuff on an old xbox controller it takes ages to melt the solder. Like 10-20 secs. Then when I take away the iron to suck it up with a desoldering...
