    28x2 MPPT Success, 50v 35amp ,2.1Kw Panels

Hi I have been ably to get to picaxe to communicate with the Pi, the driver listed worked for me. I had to follow the extra instructions when installing the driver, but it worked. I don't program the picaxe with the Pi I use it to get serial data to a data base.

Hi lbenson I've tryed to make the pole mounts good enough for 150kmh winds with panels parked horizontal. The system will be exposed to tropical cyclones so fingers crossed I did a good job.

    28x2 MPPT Success, 50v 35amp ,2.1Kw Panels

Hi ferando Thanks for that info. I have been using a manual input to adjust the pwm, record the highest and then let it run and compare. I've been very happy with the results. PWM@100khz and voltage/amps sampling at 20 Hz the response is nice and quick under 1 second.

    08M2 PV MPPT Charge Controller

Hi All, I have just built a MPPT for my 2.1Kw solar array. I use the system to power my HotWater. The Picaxe 28x2 does the job very well, returns 95% to 85% efficency, very pleasing result, as this was my first design project. To answer the question can a Picaxe chip run an MPPT for me it is YES.
