Personally I prefer to keep the voltage slightly on the low side (4.9v) It doesn't take much of a pulse at 5.3v to do permanent damage.

Are you running pe6 as administrator? I find that without, sometimes it works - sometimes not.

Hi, sorry this is rather hurried but just about toi shut off computer. The radio modules in clocks use a 60kHz ferrite rod, perhaps you could use one and parallel more capacitors to achieve resonance. john

Hi Mark, without a diagram it is not simple. However from my own experiences and from reading many posts on here, the usual culprits are lack of decoupling capacitors, lack of back emf diodes across things like the lock coil and the lock driver transistor or fet not big enough for the task...
