I'm an old school electronics and computer science engineer. I was around during the birth of the digital age and have been hacking hardware and software ever since. Since I retired I began producing animated art and sculptures employing electronic and programming elements, finally using my skill set for my own entertainment and not for someone else.

I came across the Picaxe looking for a simple, low cost mechanism to control animation sequences for my art projects. I have been in love with the Picaxe ever since I downloaded my first Basic test loop program to one.

Desiring now to share my experience and exchange ideas with a like-minded community.
